I am impressed with the quality of these spice jars. The glass is thick and the stainless steel lids fit well. Each jar comes with a plastic lid with holes for sprinkling condiments if needed. The plastic cups are tight and I have to pop the lid off with a steak knife, prying it up a bit so I can remove it with my fingers when it needs to be refilled, but that's good because who wants the lid to fall off when you splash . Spices? You can skip the plastic labels on your shaker if you're using condiments that you don't sprinkle, just 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon. The labels are chalkboard style and the included pen is too wide to write on the included labels. Instead of using labels, I just made them myself with the help of a label printer. The seller sent me one but the envelope wasn't sealed tightly and all I received was an empty envelope.
