I bought these headphones to replace my Logitech H 800 headset, I wear the headset all day for phone calls and voice recognition. Noise canceling definitely helps when making calls amidst ambient noise. The only downer is that when listening to music, the sound quality is mediocre and lacks bass. If you're looking for a quality headset at a great price that's comfortable and great for making calls, then this is a great choice. If you're looking for something that will give you quality sound when listening to music, these headphones probably aren't for you.
