Review on 6 Pack of Rolay Vintage Edison Bulbs, Clear Glass Square Spiral Filament Incandescent Light Bulbs, 60W by Hassan Tomlinson

After buying and returning several bulbs, reading review after review, buying dimmer after dimmer hoping the LEDs would stop flickering and/ or to hum, I've finally found lightbulbs that work. I have a light fixture I bought in West Elm's kitchen, it only needs Edison bulbs to look right so I bought a few but they were too dim. They were amber. As this is a kitchen the light needs to be bright so you can see what you are doing cooking etc. The previous light fixture with two standard 40w bulbs was fine but now I had 8 bulbs and the light was darker. too dark. Thinking I was saving energy I tried a couple of 2700K Edison LED dimmable bulbs I bought here at Revain with one of these Lutron LED dimmers. The lights were too bright, bluish, and had a constant 60Hz strobe flash. A constant stroboscopic effect could be seen due to the rapid movement of the hands. So I tried several other 2200K Edison LED bulbs with a yellow tint. This brand had no strobe but a horrible dimmer hum even though I used an "approved" dimmer. The light was also an ugly yellow color. So I tried another LED light, this time it was 2200K and it was sharp - and the color was great, but it also had a 60Hz strobe flicker. like that . I tried the fourth LED hoping I could get it working before I gave up and although it claimed to be dimmable it flickered oddly when the brightness was reduced to low. After giving up the whole LED experiment, I went back to trying to find some Edison bulbs that were as bright as regular incandescent bulbs that didn't have all of these problems. Wow, the lights are amazing! These bulbs aren't as bright as traditional 40w bulbs, but they're close and the color is great. Dim them and they glow like Edison bulbs, turn them on and they're good enough for task lighting. Now I'm buying 3 more packs to install other lights around the house.
