The headset feels well made and quite solid. Pleasant on the ears and sounds good. The controller is quite heavy, but it comes with a clip you can clip to your shirt so you don't have to tug on your headset. The microphone is good, sensitive and clear BUT it has noise. I tried the headset on 2 laptops and the background issue was present on both. Another Jabra headset I have on the same laptops doesn't hum. The background of the outgoing sound that I have verified by recording with a microphone and there is noise in the recorded sound. It is a pity. I sent the headphones back. I don't want to be "the guy" with the loud microphone. UPDATE: I think the hum could be caused by the onboard status LED. Maybe an unfortunate design decision? I tested this by purchasing the version of this headset without the status LED and it has NO hum! I also found that this headset has a self-hear feature that allows you to hear your own voice in the headset. It's not the shaky, laggy feedback you get when you select "Listen to this device" in Windows settings, but real-time audio. I like this feature and have decided to keep this version of the headset. CONS: Don't buy this headset for a great music listening experience. You have to spend more for that. But for office work, voice and a dragon is quite suitable. Of course I use it for that. Has all the features I need to get the job done at an affordable price.
