So, great idea. I love the concept of being able to display an echo dot or other small wired device on a surface with a hidden cable. Fabulous! Bravo! However, I don't think this product development process involved any consumer testing. This item is for organizers and those who love order, cleanliness, order and easy customization. If consumers were asked to test it and give feedback, there would be some small but very important changes. Wrap the cable around the perimeter of the cable box. There is a small stand in the middle of the cable box that doesn't provide enough structure to make it easier to reach and hold the cable in the cable box. Second, the "lid" of the cable box is not secure enough. If the cable you constantly have to wrap in the cable box is *kinda* stiff, it can open the lid. And again the struggle to get the cord and keep it inside begins. I hooked up an Echo Show, which has a fairly flexible cable, to one of them and it's been quite a frustrating process - successful but not easy. Great idea that needs work to be perfect.
