Photo albums of different sizes and styles work well so far

When it comes to photos and photo albums I stick to the "old school". Like most of us, I also take photos with my smartphone. It's amazing how this has revolutionized photography. But for me, a few thousand photos on an iPhone is not enough. So for travel photos, family reunions, etc., I go to Walgreens and print the best of my iPhone onto 4x6 prints and then put them in actual photo albums (along with a selection of postcards, event tickets, and other souvenirs). ). For years I've been using (and ordering) the same photo album that fits 3 4x6's per side (front and back each). Then the other day I was ready to order some more photo albums and lo and behold they are no longer available. After shopping I bought two photo albums of this type. MBI Library Collection 400 Pocket 4x6 Inch Photo Album turned out to be a very different photo album than what I was used to. Biggest difference: Instead of 3 4x6 slots per side, this album has 5 4x6 slots (3 horizontal and 2 vertical). This obviously makes the site and the album as a whole much bigger. This album measures 13.5 x 13 inches (much like a record cover used to be). This is much larger than the 9.5 x 11 inches of previous photo albums I've used. I hasten to add that it is entirely my fault for not carefully reading all the product information listed on Revain (I admit I was in a hurry and ordered rather quickly). But I may well stick with the new size. As it turns out, I really like the combination of 3 horizontal and 2 vertical 4x6 slots on the site. For example, it allows more flexibility when taking pictures. Now I don't have to worry about all my shots being taken "horizontally". And with this album, you can place pictures more smoothly and easily. That's a big plus for my book. I can't say what happens to the photo album when it's full. Conclusion: Sometimes it's good to be unexpectedly in a new situation. Who knows why the former 9.5" x 11" photo album maker no longer makes this (or is no longer available from Revain), but it is what it is. I keep taking photos and creating new photo albums all the time, period.
