Instant Ocean Reef Crystals Salt is the industry standard and it's GOOD SALT for a reason! Given the price and all the research I've done, I don't see how anyone can go wrong with Reef Crystals. Contains all the nutrients and the right chemical balance like expensive salts. Can I say it's better than the Red Sea? From the research and testing results I've seen, they're pretty similar. With this salt and regular water changes, you shouldn't need to dose. This is not 100% true in all cases (e.g. Acropora consumes a lot of calcium). If you buy this product in this size you are either a regular home player or you are buying in bulk. For the home player, this salt is ideal in a 10-1000 gallon aquarium. If you are later this salt will serve you well. All in all, I have been running freshwater and saltwater aquariums for over 20 years. I know a few things that I hope I can pass on and help someone.
