These shorts fit well and are comfortable, 3 stars. However, the details are problematic. First, the legs are slightly flared at the bottom, almost like a torch. I was hoping for something else, I wish they were a little narrower so the knees don't give as much when pedaling. Second, the 4 zippered pockets are too small for a medium sized phone, so the phone should be in one of the top pockets where you might already have your keys or wallet. Third, the velcro adjustment at the waist is good, but the velcro is cheap and flimsy, it doesn't really hold up if you pull the belt with moderate force. Fourth, as the velcro is a little weak, I tried adding a belt but there are only 2 loops, just above the front pockets as seen in the photo. There are no loops on the sides or back, so there is no way to attach a belt. A good pair of cycling shorts with thoughtful details will cost at least three times as much, so you get what you pay for. If you can afford the best shorts then you should, but if you can't then this isn't a bad option. Just read the size chart carefully and order them to fit snugly. There is no way to make them tighter or add a belt!
