I have a 600w microwave that I am currently using with a modified sine wave inverter. It takes time to cook something so I took a pure sine wave inverter with the same power. I should have known the price is too good to be true and it even says not to run it from a 12v car socket if the power is above 150w as most car fuses for nothing beyond that are designed. I've never seen fuses or breakers rated for anything other than amps. Every 15 seconds the fault light on the inverter came on and the microwave couldn't work at all. My outlet is connected directly to the battery with an 8 gauge wire so there is no power issue. I just don't think the claimed rating of the inverter is correct. I used my best technique. The inverter is back on and working fine, it only takes a few minutes to warm up a bit.
