I got this monitor at a great price from Newegg.com before everyone discovered it, so maybe I'm biased. To be honest the market price went up by $200 within a week of my purchase so maybe my price was just a mistake they corrected. However, this is an exceptional monitor with great colors, bright and vibrant images, and crisp text that blew me away. I replaced a 17" Iiyama CRT that was 5 years old and ranked #1 when I bought it with this monitor and couldn't believe how much better it looked and performed. What's even better, it looks really cool on my now tidy desktop, and it's height, angle, and rotation adjustments so easy that I keep changing its position depending on what I'm doing (web, word processing, gaming. You love it!
