I've had the YIKA clothes steamer for a week now. This is my first vape so I have no comparison. However I love it! I particularly like the disinfecting aspect of steaming. So after a lot of research I settled on YIKA mainly because of the positive reviews, low cost and the fact that it is the only ceramic sole steamer I know that outperforms stainless steel. It does exactly what it was designed to do and does it well. Of course, only time will tell how durable it is. So far it has paid off many times over. how can you ask I was able to pull some old clothes from the back of my closet that I no longer wore because they were so wrinkled and found a new wardrobe! Yes, mine came with some moisture in the water tank. But the manufacturer also claims in 50 different places that every device undergoes quality control to ensure it's working properly and that the result is moisture, which I can agree with. This does not mean that they ship used products. So for those who gave a star because of this, I will say that it is unfair. Like most people, my first attempts at vaping were a bit clumsy. There's a learning curve. But now that I have more experience, I can now steam 2-3 garments in one session before refilling the tank. I find myself looking for clothes to vape just for fun. I found a quick and easy way to make shirt sleeves; Turn the FRONT of the shirt toward you, hold one sleeve across your chest with the BACK of the sleeve facing you. Mute it and repeat on the other side. This is a great way to end the pages! I use a clothespin to hold my sleeves up so I don't burn myself from the steam. Other tips; Don't sweat like you're painting a fence, do it SLOWLY. Hold it over stubborn wrinkles even for a second. Use distilled water ONLY. You actually get more vapor and no splatter with distilled water compared to tap water. Five out of five stars!
