When we work with medium sized frames like this 20" x 24" we find varying qualities even at Revain. Some have hard backs and locking dials, but not this Craig frame. Craig's frames have plain card stock with folded tabs, something I've seen on cheap, low quality 8 1/2" x 11" document holder frames. We will be much more careful about the quality of the next set of frames we buy for my wife's 16" x 20" paintings... and we will not buy Craig's frames unless there is no other choice. This Craig frame was the only one that had a special gold frame. . Others were too wide or too narrow. It had to come with pre-cut mat and for the price it was very expensive for very low quality. But in this case, this 20" x 24" GOLD frame was just what the picture needed. I had to purchase a 16" x 20" picture mount to fit this frame. The plastic cover was interesting to say the least. I've paid less for wooden frames with mounts, hard backs, and glass tops.
