This is a real deal. I have tinnitus and sleep with headphones on and quietly listening to a digital book. It distracts me from the ringing in my ears and lets me sleep. As for tossing and turning at night, I'm really bad at headphones. Once a month I bought really cheap ones because they lasted so long. However, the cheap ones have such poor sound quality that I often had trouble understanding the reader. This isn't Bose quality, but they're decent enough to offer very good sound quality for both music and Audible books.
