Made from very thin and cheap wood. The horses that come with it are terrible (visible stitching, poor paintwork, cheap plastic). The shed also arrived with a broken piece of window frame. Still, I plan to keep this item as I actually bought it for our Schleich horses. A little glue easily secures part of the frame. And I coated the whole thing with natural wood oil so it doesn't feel so dry/cheap. Definitely not worth full price - glad I bought it in the Black Friday sale!

BEAUTIFUL little stable. Melissa and Doug's toys are great for my imaginative little granddaughters and they really enjoyed the stable. Melissa and the Doug Fold & Go stable is a valuable asset. We love his craft. The horses are very strong and cute. The hay logs are great, as is the folding fence. Cabin doors slide easily. For the price and this is a Melissa and Doug product I have to say I am very disappointed. The barn itself is rough wood, not as usual sanded and smooth as I would expect by M&D standards.
