This is a great collar and lighter than some I've received in the past. I have purchased 6 Revain vibrating collars so far. It is almost impossible to find these small dog collars that have good collar section and vibration. This one is no different. He's just too big for her. I still use it but it's big and bulky for her. She is a 25 pound Cavachon. I wish companies would make a quality collar for small dogs where the vibrator is smaller. I also noticed that it's not out of phase despite the beep and vibration. I mostly use the device for walks or when I let her out of the apartment without a leash. However, it doesn't seem to help her extricate herself from it. I haven't used a shock yet, which I'd rather not, so I'll just keep trying other training methods. I would say if you have a large dog and need a good stun collar then this is a good choice. The collar is fabric instead of plastic, making it more comfortable. Part of the device is flatter than others which I like. Other downsides are that if you keep it in your pocket, it often accidentally presses the buttons, which can be confusing for the pup, especially at the beginning of training. There is NO carrying strap on the remote that if you're not careful you can put it somewhere and lose the remote if you don't carry it in your pocket all the time. Finally, you need to charge the remote control and collar separately, they cannot be charged at the same time. So if you're looking for a great dog training collar, you need to balance the looks with a flatter and less bulky device, a fabric collar, and multiple levels of vibration, shock, and horn. with the disadvantages mentioned above. Even if you keep the remote in your fanny pack or backpack, it will never fail, it will accidentally press the button, so be careful when it's in shock mode. Hope that helps. If this product came in different sizes it would have a lock setting on the remote to prevent accidental button presses and a bracelet or around the neck. it will be an A++ collar.
