Review on Steep Strain Ceramic Tea Mug by Bryan Orozco

I love tea and find that steeped loose leaf tea tastes better than tea bags and is fresher. I had a tea infuser for a very long time until I broke it and carried it with me in a tea bag. So instead I researched how best to travel with tea and found ceramic tea mugs. I read about the Kiss Me Organics Steep and Strain teacup and loved that it has two layers to keep the tea hot. There was a travel cover and a good thin strainer for brewing tea. I ordered it and it was packaged securely so it wouldn't break. there were various beautiful patterns to choose from and i got green with white swirls. I took it out of the box and washed it, first took out the green tea leaves and brewed myself a cup of hot tea and it was very easy to prepare. I placed the tea leaves in a strainer, filled it with hot water, closed the ceramic lid and let it steep and got ready to go. After about 15 minutes I opened the travel cover and hit the road with my SUPER HOT FRESH TEA! The tea mug is fine except the travel lid doesn't fit as well as I would like because IF IT slips I'll get burned hard. I suggest keeping an eye on this cover and maybe the company will make a better one.
