I tried many styles of boots, hoping to find boots I like that will be comfortable for my wide feet (before purchasing boots in extra wide or extra extra wide). I had to send many cute boots back. As other reviewers noted, these boots do, surprisingly, fit much roomier and comfortable for wide feet, with regular or thick socks. I actually thought they were mis-labeled and should have been labeled as a Wide Width. Whether fluke or not, I am very pleased with the wider and slightly higher toe box, which is what allows me to splay toes to the sides as well as up and down comfortably. Was very pleasantly surprised, and I like the mid-calf height. Soles are thick and flexible, not too soft or too flexible, just right, with good support. May or may not be sufficient arch for everyone, but has enough room for a standard arch insert/padding if needed. Zipper works well and is full length for convenience, ez in and out. Not real suede (which is fine), so are a very good price compared to other boots of same quality and features.
