These curlers are great! I have naturally curly hair, but it can be unpredictable. I bought them so that I could have nice and reliable curls by the end of the day. They are easy to apply and I have found that pulling your hair away from your scalp a little makes you feel better. Some reviews indicated that her hair became frizzy. Before applying it, I did a home conditioning treatment and my hair became soft. If you want to add product I would recommend using a curl cream and NOT a mousse. Mousse dries hair and makes it frizzier. It's uncomfortable to sleep in, but I haven't found any night curlers that would fit. I was also shocked at how quickly my hair dried and how long the curls lasted. The photo was taken outdoors in strong winds after posting and my hair still looked great! They fell a little but I still had curls. The only other problem I had was my top coat drying out near the scalp. The curls were quite fun and created bumps. I think it's mainly a technical issue and I'll have to try something different next time.
