These are basic/cheap ceiling speakers but well worth the money. I installed them in the garage with a cheap home subwoofer and am overall very impressed. Give them some raw power and they'll give you plenty of sound. The highs at lower volumes left a bit to be desired, but at higher volumes they were quite bright. Easy assembly, you get a cut out template. The speakers have a 2nd order crossover built in, so give them full bandwidth. Even Midbass tried to lay a little. But I definitely recommend using them in conjunction with a dedicated subwoofer. In general I am very happy. The only issue I had was with the original purchase and shipping. I had to ask them to reorder as the original purchase was lost.
