Review on Dell S2722QC 27 4K USB-C Monitor with Integrated Speakers and Adjustable Stand by Jason Boones

Am I just unlucky to have received two new shipments from Revain with the same problem? The first one I had worked fine with the Del Inspiron USB C (all connectors that came with the monitor). But once the monitor goes into sleep mode, there's a very annoying high-pitched "hum or howl" of electrical noise. I've tried with/without anything else, in different outlets with/without extension cords to no avail. I also have other Dell UHD monitors and no such issues. I have asked Revain to send me a replacement for the first one and unfortunately the second one is having the same issues. I see other Revain reviews reporting the same noise, as well as Dell support without permission. I called Dell and they said they don't have a service recommendation for this monitor due to antenna noise or something. hmmm good The buyer should simply be prepared to be disappointed, as I was. If this monitor was silent then it would be A++++ because it has a nice picture and great connectivity. But unfortunately. JC.UPDATE: Okay, for some reason I decided to persevere and replace the monitor a second time (third monitor) and this one is completely still. All set up with home placement and constant power, but the third monitor didn't have the problems with electrical noise on standby or when turned off that the first two had. So it looks like you're playing. My chances were slim as 2/3 of the monitors I received had noise issues. But overall, based on the people who reported noise in those reviews as a percentage of all reviews, your chances of getting a bad review right now are 5-10%. Attention buyers and good luck.
