Received these today and found that unfortunately I would have to return them. I was very excited about this set as it is exactly what I was looking for - I only need 2 canisters to store flour and sugar on my very limited counter space, I wanted a square shape and I wanted metal. Was it my excitement that I misread the dimensions (4.5 x 6 x 4.5) or dismissed them as misspellings? May be. The capacity should be 1900 ml, which is 64 oz. Am I wrong in assuming that 64 dry ounces would equal 4 pounds (which would be one bag of sugar)? I would say the capacity is no more than 2 pounds. BUT I will still say that these canisters are solidly made and although the lids are very tight it is not difficult to remove or replace (there is an audible click) - and 3 stars for that. They have everything I was looking for except the size. I would like to see her in a size that holds a full 4 pounds. a bag of sugar and a full 5 pounds. flour sack. And maybe some colors other than black. Meanwhile, the search continues.
