I bought these gloves basically because my fingers and hands are so cold. I live in North Dakota, last night it was 25 below and my hands are usually freezing. These gloves are a big step forward. I usually only take them to keep my fingers warm while driving, it sounds weird but my fingers stayed warm. I felt my fingertips getting a little cold, but the rest of my hand stayed very warm. I haven't tried them on skis yet. Most gloves are supposed to be windproof, but you won't feel anything in these. There's nothing very encouraging about that. It's pretty tight when you get there, but give them some time to get used to it. So far I'm very happy with them and since I don't have to try them long enough when they get cold I just grab fingertip mittens. So if you need hot hands, they do a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
