Warm but small - men

Well they seem warm but small. I don't have big hands and I bought these for my husband for Christmas who also has small hands and I read reviews that said they ran small so I got the XL. XL feels small even in my arms. The extra airflow in gloves seems to keep you warmer than tight gloves. I'm not sure if this will work for him, but I'm looking forward to Christmas.

High quality glove glove

I think if your hands get cold with this product that says more about you (circulatory problems) than the glove itself. Yes they are working on the small size. I used the chart and the glove fit exactly like a guiding glove should. You should not let an inch of the glove dangle from your fingers. like a baseball glove. The more you break it, the better they fit. If you ski 3 days a year, buy a softer glove. maybe 3 seasons ;)

Sturdy but comfortable, best with gloves

I used them for the first time last weekend and they work right out of the box. I knew this happened, but having experienced it, it's worth reminding potential buyers that it will take a significant amount of time to break in. Needless to say they are amazing. I like the slight cuff and it fits perfectly. Last weekend I went skiing in NVT and my hands were warm all day. Once they come loose, they fit like a glove. :)

Not as warm as I expected

Although the gloves appear to be of good quality materials and workmanship, they are not very warm at all. When I first put them on to shovel snow on my ATV, my fingers went numb after 30-45 minutes. Sure, it was cold outside, probably around zero degrees Fahrenheit, but it's assumed they can handle it. I am very disappointed in these gloves. I will look elsewhere for my next gloves. Not recommended.

Highly recommended: Gloves

I needed very warm and durable gloves for a recent trip to Iceland where I snowmobiled on a glacier and spent a lot of time on various tours in sub-zero temperatures. . These gloves kept my hands warm (although the heating pads I used helped too!). I was snowmobiling on a glacier in about 0 degrees Fahrenheit and moving at about 35-40 miles per hour and my hands were comfortably warm. The glove's wrist area protrudes a few inches above the forearm and slips easily over a winter coat to keep the

Quality winter glove

Keeps hands warm while you are active. I've worn them here in central Maine during wintry snowstorms with temperatures as low as -5 and WCF as low as -15 this season, and my hands have been warm again while I've been active enough. My hands still get cold when it's quiet outside, but they don't. They're bulky, and you certainly can't do anything that requires a lot of manual dexterity or fine motor skills, but they're good for shoveling snow, blowing snow, or driving to work on a cold winter…

High quality workmanship

Absolutely great gloves! The fit is absolutely perfect. When you order, please follow the size chart. Do not tighten the tape measure around your hand, but hold it straight. If your size is on the outer (upper) limit, you should probably increase your glove size. Because it's leather, the fit is like a second skin. So, while padded as advertised, expect them to be very snug on your hand like leather. The price is higher than other gloves that appear to be comparable but you get quality that I'm

Not that warm for skiing

I only gave the gloves 2 stars because for the $180 price tag I expected a pair of gloves to be comfortable in my hands. I've worn them twice, once at 35F and once at 28F. I have good circulation and both times my fingertips in particular were quite cold and the rest of my fingers were generally uncomfortable. I have $60 gloves that are just as good as these. I have been watching video reviews of these gloves on YouTube and one review is from a person who said he has climbed Mount Denali down…

Good stuff here: gloves

I bought these gloves basically because my fingers and hands are so cold. I live in North Dakota, last night it was 25 below and my hands are usually freezing. These gloves are a big step forward. I usually only take them to keep my fingers warm while driving, it sounds weird but my fingers stayed warm. I felt my fingertips getting a little cold, but the rest of my hand stayed very warm. I haven't tried them on skis yet. Most gloves are supposed to be windproof, but you won't feel anything in…
