If you have used a shusher that lasts 30 minutes a 60 minute sound machine is a step up. After this point it is a step down from the advertised product. We have twins and there's no shortage of wine sessions to get this thing activated so it responds once turned on, but it just doesn't work. For the price I wish it had Bluetooth so I could turn it on myself with the app like you can with the SNOO bassinet. I think the bugs are one of the reasons it's $20 off now on the Happiest Child site. There are bad reviews too. I think it could be a hit with a few tweaks like Bluetooth controls and a more attractive bear, or just offer an effective noise box without the bear.
