SNOObear White Noise Machine Cry Activated Review

I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately it's not what I expected. The bear itself is not so soft and comfortable. Velcro on the back doesn't hold up well. The sound quality is pretty bad compared to other devices, so bad that we don't use any sounds other than heartbeats because they're awful. The controls aren't the easiest to use, although you'll get the hang of it. I wouldn't recommend this as a sound machine.

We had a SNOO cymbal before baby was born and figured we wouldn't need it until transition to the cradle, but we took it to the hospital to have it on the 'second' night and everywhere to support where we went, it attaches to the stroller and looks cute. The review says that it no longer works, you just have to change the battery, you need a Strow driver for that, but this is a safety measure.

If you have used a shusher that lasts 30 minutes a 60 minute sound machine is a step up. After this point it is a step down from the advertised product. We have twins and there's no shortage of wine sessions to get this thing activated so it responds once turned on, but it just doesn't work. For the price I wish it had Bluetooth so I could turn it on myself with the app like you can with the SNOO bassinet. I think the bugs are one of the reasons it's $20 off now on the Happiest Child site…

Overall terrible product. The bear itself isn't soft and cuddly like some of the 'fake' reviews suggest. Looks terrible. But we got it for the sound machine and that was a mistake too. It didn't turn on when the baby cried. Not once. We even got a replacement and the same problem. I was able to get it to work by trying to cry, but it only activated once.
