My 4 year old son has broken his 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones. Ortho recommended Amazon hiking boots as my PPO required my deductible to be completed before the $800 boots were covered. As soon as I got the boot we went straight to the orthopedist to have the cast removed and the boot fitted. Unfortunately I got a large instead of an X-Large. I didn't notice this as the sticker had been removed from the plastic boot but I realized it was a big one as my son's toes were sticking out of the end of the boot which is said to have taken 4-7 weeks to heal. A week after I put the boot on, I found that the inner liner was marked as large.
