Pixel errors and failure immediately after the warranty period expires. STAY AWAY

I really like the combination of high refresh rate and FreeSync/Gsync. This is what makes the movement in the game so smooth. The HDR feature looks really good, although it's a bit slow on Windows. The colors are great too. If you're not using HDR this monitor also gets extremely bright. I think 1080p might not be great for this size as you can see individual pixels fairly clearly, but other than that it's pretty good. The problem occurs after owning it for a while. About a month or two after owning two of them, I had a stuck green pixel that was impossible to fix on one of them. Literally a month after my warranty expired (1 year warranty according to LG) my other monitor stopped receiving power. When I contacted LG, they said my warranty expired a month ago and I could pay $150 to fix it. (I would add that their tech support is terrible. Their website interface is awkward to navigate and I had to transfer 3 times, each time they disconnected me instead of transferring.) Unfortunately for repairs you have to take the monitor too one of their repair centers. Not next to me either. (I live in a medium sized city on the Washington State coast). I would spend more on gas than the monitor costs to fix it. I've never seen a monitor die so quickly from regular use. I don't buy anything from LG anymore because my monitor break is very short. Either extend the warranty on items you don't need or don't sell them at all. I am really disappointed with the durability of this product. I'm also $300 poorer, so thanks LG. *Updated July 22, 2022* The second monitor I bought just died. weeks after the first. It feels like either planned obsolescence or faulty monitors were sent to me. In any case, LG refuses to replace them, so I'm just warning others. Stay away. These are cheap junk monitors. I bought 2 and they both failed a few months after the warranty expired.
