It's a great monitor, especially for the price it's in. I've had it for over 2 years now and only have one issue: the slightly wobbly stand. The stand doesn't sit perfectly flat on any surface, causing it to tip slightly when hit. However, this is a fantastic IPS monitor for what you pay for. I plan to upgrade it to a secondary monitor role once my 27GP850-B arrives later this month.

Great budget monitor - nothing for the high-end niche

If you're looking for a quality yet affordable gaming monitor, this is a solid choice - it does the job well enough and is the right size for gaming. However, if you're looking for something for editing/workspace, I'd recommend spending the extra $200 or so and going for something with the right resolution. This monitor doesn't give you the finest details and customizable options to broaden your view - it's more suited to simple tasks due to the low resolution, which is of course why the cost…

Great as my 2nd screen

Before I start my review, I want to note that I don't use it as the main screen for my desktop, so the flaws in my book aren't that big. I LOVE this monitor. I didn't buy many monitors from now until 2015 so maybe I'm not the best reviewer but the monitor still looked pretty sharp to me and I didn't have any dead pixels on arrival. I had two gaming settings that seemed to be interfering with the display settings on the desktop itself, not just the monitor (like switching to gaming mode for…

Happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.

Bought the monitor in October 2019. It is now July 2020. No issues so far, although there have been occasional slight stutters when playing high FPS games like Fortnite and Warzone. Aside from games, he is very skilled at everything else. Highly recommended. However, based on other reviews, the customer service doesn't seem too great, but at the moment I had no reason to contact them. I also saw this review that said the monitor only supports 120 fps. It's not, it's 144 FPS, you just have to…

A near-perfect gaming monitor

It has everything I want from a gaming monitor. Gsync and 144Hz is a godsend for gaming and everything feels very smooth. An IPS panel, 10-bit and high brightness are sufficient. Some people will be concerned about the 1080p resolution on a 27-inch screen, which I'm fine with since my other monitor has the same pixel density. The weird thing is that it's not as sharp as my other monitor, even after changing the sharpness and settings for it (it doesn't hurt, but it's enough to complain about)…

The only 27 " FHD 144Hz display with a true IPS panel (VA not IPS)

Build quality is solid and it comes with a short, high-speed DVI cable. So if you want to use your own cable you can't save or it won't run at 144hz (faster/faster) as opposed to ghosting in cheaper but still 144hz monitors. Clean and understandable game in Paladins. When an enemy character uses instant sprint abilities, I actually see them moving instead of being in one place and then seemingly "teleporting" into proximity. Uniformity is good, when I open a white screen it looks uniformly…

died 13 months later

I used this monitor as a secondary display. It was great for this assignment. Image quality was excellent and everything was smooth. Importantly, he accidentally died 13 months later. There was no sign on me that he was slowly dying. I checked the power supply and all cables. Nothing else was wrong. Very frustrating that it died after only 13 months, 1 month after the warranty expired.

Too bright! to my rating.

Great monitor, but a bit too much. I still find it too big for games close to the table, I usually play in windowed mode so I can play on an effectively smaller screen. It's insanely bright too, even at the lowest possible brightness it's almost blinding at night with the lights off. This is normal during the day/when there is a lot of light. at the lowest level. Although I think some people will like it. I would also like to warn that it has a dedicated DC power supply and a brick instead of…

Get what you expect.

Good gaming monitor, the 27" is my favorite and no the quality isn't washed out like the 27" says. The price is a bit high, bought for 250 with VAT and shipping. All in all a good smooth monitor, I've had it for over a year now but I have a bit of regrets because I've found that my PC can't run all new games at 144fps so it's basically a waste of time. but for framerate games it's perfect.

No complaints, I will order more

Bought for home office so can't comment on gaming. Seems to be a quality build. Easy installation. The height adjustment works great. The stand is strong; no wobble. 2 HDMI ports, 1 DisplayPort. No VGA connection. The user manual is on the CD; but it's pretty much useless anyway. Special note on cables and setup: Comes with a display port cable which I was never able to get to work with my dock. You need your own HDMI cable.

Great buy, I like the monitor but not true HDR.

First let me say this monitor is fantastic and I am very happy with my purchase. I love that it comes with a DisplayPort cable, although I don't use it with my current setup. Image quality is great, but I definitely recommend playing around with it a bit, it seems a bit oversaturated by default. The only problem is HDR. This is not true HDR. Now it still looks good 90-95% of the time in my opinion, with a few exceptions coming from the sunlight directly on the screen in-game, but it's worth…

Too much saturation

I like the monitor but it has too much saturation even after fiddling with the settings. Things are too green and I've turned off the green so far. Otherwise a good monitor. No built-in speakers if that's what you're looking for.

Very good for the price for a first monitor

I've had this monitor for a little over a month now and I'm very happy with it. This is my first monitor for my very first PC build for gaming and streaming movies shows etc. I was a little nervous about choosing a 27 inch 1080p monitor because so many people said I shouldn't go overboard at 1080p 24 inch go. However, the image quality on this monitor is good enough that (most of the time) you hardly notice any overly jagged edges. That's not to say there aren't jagged edges, they are, but…

Look no further for a great gaming monitor

I'm a gamer and first let me say that I switched to this monitor from a 32 inch 4k HDR 60Hz monitor. I was concerned that going back to 1080p would be difficult, especially on a 27-inch dpi monitor. All I can say is that this monitor is great and I will be using it all the time and packing 4k for now. Going from 60Hz to 144Hz is amazing and in my opinion much more beneficial than upscaling. Now, 1080p doesn't look super sharp on a 27-inch screen with text, but overall it's not bad, and there's…

Wow just wow in my review.

Bought as an additional monitor. 12-bit and 444 as well as 120 or 144 Hz can be set via the Nvidia control panel. True HDR YouTube videos will blow your mind on this monitor. Yes, even at 1080. I'm waiting for the 1440 (27GL850) version to come out to replace my main monitor. Just a couple of notes: for those waiting for a newer version of this 1080 monitor, there's no need unless you need a higher refresh rate. I run this at 120 for the video and it's reliable. Also, for those with Nvidia…

Great monitor, great price

I bought this monitor as it most closely resembled my Acer Predator (double the price/same specs) which broke after a year and a half of use. You could have two of these for the price of one, and somehow the picture seems a bit clearer. When I see in-game text while moving the viewpoint, I see a difference from my old monitor.

I bought it to have 120 fps on my PS5 to basically use it to its fullest potential and to be honest I'm blown away by the picture quality, unreal monitor at a really solid price. I seriously recommend this monitor for your console or PC.
