Bought as an additional monitor. 12-bit and 444 as well as 120 or 144 Hz can be set via the Nvidia control panel. True HDR YouTube videos will blow your mind on this monitor. Yes, even at 1080. I'm waiting for the 1440 (27GL850) version to come out to replace my main monitor. Just a couple of notes: for those waiting for a newer version of this 1080 monitor, there's no need unless you need a higher refresh rate. I run this at 120 for the video and it's reliable. Also, for those with Nvidia cards, a 10-series or higher card is required to run HDR over a DP connection. HDR only works over HDMI on the 900 series cards as the 970 is my second graphics card. All features work great on 10 series cards and up through DP, HDR and adaptive sync.
