Review on LG 27GL650F B Ultragear Monitor: 1080p, 144Hz, Adaptive Sync, HDR, Flicker Free by Bryan Kolpack

Look no further for a great gaming monitor

I'm a gamer and first let me say that I switched to this monitor from a 32 inch 4k HDR 60Hz monitor. I was concerned that going back to 1080p would be difficult, especially on a 27-inch dpi monitor. All I can say is that this monitor is great and I will be using it all the time and packing 4k for now. Going from 60Hz to 144Hz is amazing and in my opinion much more beneficial than upscaling. Now, 1080p doesn't look super sharp on a 27-inch screen with text, but overall it's not bad, and there's no screen mesh or visible pixels. Trust me I'm very picky about these things and I'm happy with this monitor. very bright and it's ips it has great colors. I have almost no backlight and no dead pixels. I truly believe that LG is a company to beat when it comes to gaming monitors, especially since they make their own panels. This is my second LG and I will have no hesitation in buying from them in the future. HDR isn't true HDR, but it adds a lot of depth and detail to most games. Keep in mind that some games have poor HDR implementation and look terrible, but good ones look great. If you want a good gaming monitor, feel free to buy one. I would also say that this 144Hz IPS display is much better than 240Hz TN panels in every way and I have had both types.
