In my opinion, the console is well worth the cost, as are the vast majority of games sold on cartridge (especially those published by Nintendo, provided they aren't merely re-released as 3D All-Stars out of laziness). However, the digital copy store as a whole is unappealing, and the subscription model is still hazy. In most cases, I would advise using both as primary and secondary prefixes. And cartridge-based video games; stock up on the rest during discounts and subscriptions. It could be worthwhile to wait for the more expensive ated version if one is announced.
