Not all TV USB ports support this.

Not all TVs with a USB port don't support the Fire Stick electrically through this charger. I have tried 2 different TV models and years and none of them work with my joysticks. It was never mentioned that a specific amount of electricity is required. Disappointed because I tried to remove the power cords from the wall mounted TVs. New concept but note that you need a specific USB port for the TV!
