I'm a swim coach and need to wear a mask when kids are out of the water. When they swim I have to take them off to be heard, and often when I'm performing on land what they have to do in the water I drop the mask on the dirty deck. I've found that mask cords or chains are essential. In the hope that the epidemic will end (loud laughter), I refuse to pay a lot for something I only want to use in the short-term. The current price ($15) is on the high end of what I'm willing to pay. I usually go with fabric or leather, but it's fun to have several different straps and this definitely falls into that category. The finish is bright and shiny, I didn't find any flaws in the coating. The links are larger than I expected. This mask came with regular snap hooks as well as an 8 plastic ring to convert to goggles and another headphone jack. Unfortunately, it's heavy enough to pull the headphones out of your ears. Hi . . . examination department. . .This chain is heavy and that's probably my only complaint. You don't forget you're wearing it. But it's definitely unique and fun and I've received many compliments since wearing it.
