Review on Dorman GM 645-500 Multi-Purpose Socket With Pigtails by Billy Danaher

Some time after I bought my 2008 GMC Yukon XL, my rear driver's side turn signal burned out. So I bought a new bulb and changed it. When I did this, the light was very dim. After some research I found that dirt is accumulating in the wiring harness under the truck. So I cleaned it. The lights were still dim after that, but now they flashed intensely when the headlights came on and I hit the brakes. While my son kept an eye on the tail light, I played with the wiring harness connector. I found it didn't hold a strong connection so I ordered it (please triple check to make sure it's the right one. There are several different types at Revain). You must connect them to the existing wiring. I did not use the cable connectors that came with it. I couldn't establish a solid connection. But after I made the connection, I turned on the truck and it's still dark. But for reasons I can't explain, the light got brighter after 5 minutes. God must have been kind to me lol.
