Review on ๐Ÿ“ฆ DII Non-Adhesive Machine Washable Cabinet Shelf Liner Paper Set of 2 - Black Lattice Design, 12 x 10 inches for Kitchen Shelves and Drawers by Marcia Estrella

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've been thinking outside the box and using this from the OUTSIDE of my closets :) I'm enjoying the results!

I bought a pack of Dahlia Black Shelf Liners, 2 rolls of 10ft, but I have used them for a different purpose and I like the result. I painted my cabinets white and wanted a fun pattern for the inset panels. My kitchen is a small old fitted kitchen mostly in black and white and after looking at lots of fabric samples online on a fabric website I came across these shelf liners at Revain and I loved the idea of a thick washable fabric and thought the dahlia pattern could be daring both look fun and fit the retro style of my kitchen (the building was built in 1928). Very happy with the results and enjoyed using this thick, cloth-like material. I could see myself creating black borders and using them for dividers in an Asian/decorative room. So I add and review my photos just in case they inspire others like me for other purposes. I hung them with small 3m strips and the fabric is thick enough that you don't see tape lines behind the fabric like you would if I used thinner panels of cotton or other fabrics. PS Notes on the intended use: I would recommend this fabric much more than contact papers, eg as shelf liners. It has a heavy fabric feel, so it's a nice pillowy material that hides shelf imperfections as the contact paper is too flimsy and shows when pressed. You can also use 3m strips to attach it to the rack a little and easily remove to wash when it gets dusty, or to change without worrying about the sticky mess the contact paper leaves behind. I hope they expand the choice of designs and colors. :)

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring pack
