Review on EXtremeRate Faceplate Controller Chameleon Replacement by Darrius Frison

Not a perfect fit. But I don't see it when I use the controller. And unlike the last skin I bought which was advertised as for the original controllers and instead for the new controllers, this one is actually for the original controllers as advertised. On my old shell, 3 out of 4 clips broke after taking the controller apart several times to change sticks, batteries, etc. As a result, the controller gave a little when playing. This new sheath with all four clamps solved that problem. So I'm happy. As far as the "soft touch" goes, it has a different texture than the standard shell and I suppose it's a bit "softer". But it really isn't much different, and while gaming most of your grip will be on the original back half of the controller. I wouldn't buy it because of the soft touch. Buy it if you need a new front or you like the look of the cabinet.
