Fish love these floating logs

I have been using floating logs of various sizes in my aquarium for twenty years. The fish love them. Plecos live in the largest and juveniles and young fish in the smallest. Almost 20 years later, one of me decided to stop swimming. I immediately bought replacements and the fish are happy again.

Pros
  • beautiful little thing
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Works great my betta loves it

I had to file down some of the edges as all the stems appear to be injection molded leaving sharp edges. But after that it's perfect. My rooster can stay up there to rest. It can also prevent some of the filter water from flowing to avoid being washed away. And now he has a good hiding place.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Available in white only

The best I could get!

My fish's favorite furniture! He's on and off all the time. I even saw him gulping air through a hole in the roof. It looks a bit big for my three liter tank, but I wouldn't give it up for anything. It's like a soft leather bedroom chair :) I also like that it floats as my fish love spending their time swimming in the upper parts of the tank.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Nothing

He liked it and it seemed to work great.

FISH OWNERS ATTENTION! I bought this log for my fish a few months ago. He liked it and it seemed to work great. Yesterday I noticed that my rooster and his 2 gears are sitting at the bottom. I examined the tank trying to find the problem and found that the inside/edges of the log had completely eroded down to a white ceramic material. Because of this, I believe my fish have become ill from the chemicals released during the decomposition of this product. They all died this afternoon and I am…

Huge, with rough spots that tore my fish's fins

I bought a small floating log for my Rooster Fish instead of a "mini" Rooster Tree because back then the size of the roosters was just extra and I wanted immediately. My impatience resulted in a HUGE log that barely fits in his 3 gallon tank but he still loves it. The problem is that it has rough spots that have torn its upper fins. I've since removed it and am hoping to sand down the rough edges, but I'm afraid the smoothed parts will end up in his leech water, so I'm a bit at a loss.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Working Speed

Perfect size for my betta aquarium

I wasn't sure about the size but went with the small size instead of the usual betta and mini size. FYI small is larger than the other two. It's not too big, it looks great and the betta loves it. If you use this in a 7 gallon aquarium it works great. I had to sand down a few sharp edges but it only took a few minutes, no big deal. Always be aware of sharp edges on objects that come into contact with aquarium fish, regardless of their size. Will buy a few more. If you have a small aquarium, I…

Amazing log suitable for aquarium decoration

This is an amazing log I bought for my rooster fish. It's dark in color so unfortunately I don't have any clear photos of it, but I spend most of my time in this magazine! I didn't even have to feed him this - he entered automatically when I put him in the aquarium. Now a few notes: - This was not sold by the rooster. It was generally marketed as a toy for fish. In order to make it look realistic, it has some sharp and rough edges, which will not harm short-finned fish, but will cause great…

FISH DESERVES THE BEST - DON'T BUY!

I must add other people who have experienced fish loss. After a few months they turn white and the material is highly toxic. I actually bought about 9 of these for my various tanks. I have a 305 gallon tank with two medium and one large. We also had a few of these in our beta tanks, as well as a large and a medium in our 75 gallon tank. Not to mention the environment in our 29 gallons and too. Unfortunately Sev (our big Severum) became his victim a few days ago. I use two FX6s in his tank and…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Band

My betta loves it. It provides protection for my Betta in a 10 gallon tank. He spends several hours a day hiding in it, relaxing in it, or just running away from what's bothering him. Tip: Position the log so you can easily see the betta inside, preferably with the long end of the log perpendicular to the front of your tank. don't roll, don't roll or anything. I didn't have the peeling paint problem that some people have. However, I felt sharp corners. This is a big no-no if you have a…
