I have two very different dogs. One of them is an older mixed terrier rescue dog. The other puppy is a 2 year old golden retriever. They both did a scientific diet for a few years and then my Golden developed a lot of skin and allergy problems. So we started researching and decided to try Blue Buffalo grain free. We started with the salmon flavor first, which both dogs liked and seemed to do well. But it smells awful. We keep our dog food in a large airtight container (which is pictured) and we were all terrified of eating it because the smell was so "stinky fishy". Gag. We also tried a blue buffalo pup and now use the red meat flavor that dogs love and no longer smells like fish - hooray, win-win. Good quality food for our dogs and my Golden still has some dry skin with scales but her general skin ulcers etc are much better.
