WOW! My 2 year old toy poodle LOVES this carrier. He's 6# and that allows him to race right next to my heart. He feels protected and sees where we are going! There's a safety T-harness that connects to his harness so he can't get lost when he jumps out. This will be difficult because it's deep enough for him to relax in when he's sitting. He gently pushes him into a comfortable position. It's really comfortable and light on my shoulder. The soft detachable SERVICE DOG mark is visible in a prominent place. He was a little nervous in our previous carrier, which was a traditional bag with an adjustable shoulder strap that hung over my waist and wobbled as I walked. It was a designer tote bag that I received at a discount from the ASPCA when I made a donation. Obviously they approved the design. It is very soft and light. with soft lining so it's also sturdy and protects it a bit. We travel a lot between LA and NY and this is a VERY efficient way of transporting it, doesn't qualify as an "Xtra". pocket and can pack in my purse during flight. I saw with him a participant of the show "What not to wear" on the Bravo TV channel. She was an animal rescuer. Anyway, I'm thrilled because this carrier was a very welcome find.
