The Dogtra 280C Tom Davis Edition is my first e-collar and it didn't disappoint. I knew I would choose the Dogtra unit as I have experience of this brand through friends who use this brand on their dogs but this 280C is perfect for my Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy. and this one fits perfectly. It also comes standard with an elasticated collar which doesn't quite fit my pooch yet but I plan to use when she's grown. I bought a standard black collar to replace the bungee collar for now. The bungee collar also features bright colors and a logo designed by Tom Davis and is a fun new way to showcase an eco collar. He also sports the #nobaddogs logo, which includes everything Tom Davis stands for and has built his business on. This gives this device a very fun and approachable vibe, making it easier to discuss learning tools for those who doubt it. The "Boost" function which is new for this device is another big plus for this device. This helps a lot in teaching and working with my pup in higher distraction areas. It's also a customizable feature that can be set to the level most suitable for your dog. The remote control for this receiver also comes in fun, bright colors, which can be seen on the receiver and elastic neck strap. It's also a great size and fits comfortably in your hand while exercising. The serrated button is also serrated for a lighter feel during exercise. This device has 127 levels, which is similar to many other devices Dogtra sells. This is an important feature I like about Dogtra as all dogs work at different levels and it allows everyone to find the level of work that works best for the dog you are training. This device also has a ½ mile range, which is different to some other devices, but that's not really a negative for me as I'll never be that far from my dog when he's wearing an eco collar. Overall I would recommend this device to anyone looking for an eco collar. The size of the device works well for both large and small dogs and fits the branding of Tom Davis and his #nobaddogs brand. I love its fun and bright colors and it's a very affordable option for those looking for a quality eco-friendly paint. The device is easy to understand and use even for people who have never used ecolar before! Tom Davies also provides many Ecocollar training tutorials and videos which are great additional resources for this section. All in all, if you are looking for a great quality, eco-friendly collar in fun colors then this is the device for you.
