I've seen some comments about the tool moving apart when installing or even screwing into a bearing for removal. This is easily fixed by wrapping a used bearing around the pins (use a zip tie if you don't have an old bearing). Also, when removing the bearing, do not insert the center bar until you have passed the tool through the bearing (this will also prevent the tool from spreading and breaking as it is passed through the bearing). Also, I use cam cover bolts to hold the jig in place rather than the low quality bolts they supply.
