I've given this a 3 because I think the problem is with my setup and not necessarily the product. I'm hoping Multi-Cord is smart enough for my setup or designed for something like mine. Please read on to understand what I mean. I have a 4 port 40W 8A USB wall charger. It is designed for 2 A/port and at least 10 W/port. It's supposed to be smart enough to send more or less juice depending on the device connected. This device has fast charged 4 devices at the same time since purchase. I wanted to replace 4 cables with one cable AND fast charge. Devices. I do not see him. When I plug in my Samsung GS10+, it charges quickly. Then I add my daughter's iPad 2 and my Samsung switches to slow charging and the iPad charges slowly. When I uninstall Samsung, the iPad goes into fast charge mode. The same happens no matter what other devices are used. It will not fast charge more than one device at a time. This is what I think is the problem and I don't know how to work around it. When I connect individual cables to a USB charger, all devices charge in fast charge mode. When I connect multi-cable to USB, all devices charge slowly. One of the features of the USB charger is that it recognizes the device and sends the right charge to it. I think that could be a problem. I don't think a stranded cable tells the smart charger what it's trying to charge. So I switched from 4 cables to 1 cable but now I have slow charging instead of fast charging. If anyone would suggest a compatible USB wall charger that they know for sure will fast charge all of their devices with the multi-cord option, I'd appreciate it if you could reply with a link to that product.
