Your size is incorrect.
These were ordered for 12x16" frames. The size of the mats supplied is 16 5/8 by 11 ยฝ. 16 could at least be trimmed, the other side is too small, at least for the frames I have.The internal cutout is 8x11, which is also an issue if your work is closer to 9x12.
