Not being able to go to the cinema this year annoyed me so I spent a lot of time researching this projector. 4K projectors are still a bit expensive and most of them aren't 4K anyway as they use pixel shifting for double or quadruple the number of pixels. I decided that a 1080p projector that could accept a 4K source and support HDR would give me the best bang for my buck. This projector did not disappoint. Super bright laser and I can see it in my bright living room with no shadows. At night, this projector produces the same good, true-color image as my 110-inch Samsung 4K. I can live without 4K for a while until prices drop and 1080p looks as good as 4K from 14 feet from a screen. It takes a while for the resolution to change, maybe 5-8 seconds, but that's common with projectors and I'm running it in 4K via a standard 30ft HDMI cable, so syncing will be a bit difficult anyway.
