I've been thinking for a long time about buying these lights because I find them too bright or almost glamorous so I don't necessarily look at them. After seeing some male YouTubers using this light I decided to add it to my lighting collection since I shoot videos all the time. Some cons: The video explains that it looks cheap due to most of the plastic parts. I really wish I could install batteries for impromptu shots or add it as a main or secondary light. But that's not a problem as I will most likely be using it exclusively in a studio environment. For the pros: It's lightweight, the 3000-5800K color temperature really makes a difference when adding lights or mixing lights, not fancy lighting. The remote also allows me to change settings on the fly. The diffuser panel is easy to remove when I need maximum light which I don't want, so at 75% brightness the diffuser is perfectly fine. 40 inches, f/4, ISO 160 and 75% brightness are enough for low ISO shots. I could even lower the brightness and shoot wide open at f/1.4 if I wanted to. The ring is actually quite large; enough to easily go through a 12 inch pizza. I have a bulky setup with a Sony a7Riii in a SmallRig cage with a handle, but it still fits perfectly in the ring. So I recommend them. Brightness definitely helps with cameras that don't do well in low light, but for all videos and photos, proper lighting means you'll make videos look crisp and more professional :)
