Review on Tensun Composite Converter Upscaler Nintendo by Lakshmi Pennington

Update: 09/26/20 The seller contacted me after my first review and offered to send me a new set. The picture, while still not perfect, is noticeably better and I've upgraded my rating to 4 stars. After reading the reviews about this upscaler, I had hopes that it would improve the picture quality of my original PlayStation. I gave Tensun two stars because technically it works. In reality, however, the picture looks worse and in most cases much darker than a simple composite video. If you're in a situation where you need to convert the composite to HDMI, this will work, but be prepared for a darker, less colorful image. For example, in WipeOut 3 for PS, some tracks are at sunset and the picture was so dark I couldn't see where I was going. Once I reconnected to the composite it looked much brighter and the color more vibrant. Let's hope the manufacturer can fix or add some controls to optimize this.
