This record player is about what you could expect for the price - the plastic pieces feel very cheap and need to be handled with care as they don’t feel securely attached. There is some reverb when listening to vocals. I have now had 4 of these over 7+ years. New computer, new case, and this one was the one that was the most difficult to get on, and unfortunately a corner has cracked. It hasn't prevented it from staying on and protecting the computer, but I was disappointed. It is hard plastic so it is to be expected that it would fail at the corners. I have not seen any problems yet with the ss metal surface rusting. It is from China and they are known to lie about the material they really use. ebay is able to skirt responsibility for their deceptions. ( this may explain their sudden drop in share price after poor earnings - so many people are returning Chinese junk.) Only time will tell what others have been complaining about with the rust. I bought this for my granddaughter & she & the hamsters love it! It did take about 45 mins to put together but she helped so it was a nice little learning project too. The little house has a window that one of the hamsters got stuck in so if yours is a bigger one you might not want to use it. Do NOT waste your money on these. The magnets are about the size of 2 piece’s of rice. They’re 9 pieces of the magnets that are movable in each shade. They do NOT stay put AT ALL!
