My father has never been a fan of the beach and especially the hot sun. He did come down one night and admired a similar tent. We asked him if we bought it would he come more often? Guess what? He now will come sit with us a few hours! SUPER easy to put up - it's just an umbrella that you open, put the pole in the ground (we also use a spiral base to give it extra stability), fill the corners with sand, attach the sun shield and you're good to go! One minor thing to note is that the clips for the sun shade are only on one side, so make sure you have it facing the correct direction before you fill the corners with sand. Would highly recommend.
