My 7 year old daughter loved it

I have a 7 year old daughter who loves to collect rocks for some reason but usually she picks up old ugly rocks from driveways and rocky paths . You know those boring, expressionless ones that look like they were left over from a construction project. I support her but shrink inside every time she picks up one of them. Then I bought this set. She was so enthusiastic about all kinds of rocks and minerals that we played rock bingo for over an hour. We read the cards aloud and she was very curious as she looked at the shiny stones. Her favorite is pyrite because it "shines". I'm a tiger eyes fan and she thought they looked really cool too. She enjoyed distinguishing between different gems and I don't think she will ever go back to litter picking. She learned a lot, had fun. , and didn't even think about her tablet or game console while we studied and played!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Having problems
