Hypoglycemia in small dogs

My dog has been eating your food for about a year. Tiny Chihuahua, 5 pounds. A few months ago I bought a new 10 pound box of whole grain chicken dog food. I noticed that the smell was very different from the last box and the texture was also very different. But my dog was fine and still wanted to eat it, so I left it to him. A few weeks after the new batch came out, I noticed that the hair on my stomach and legs was thinning. I didn't attach great importance to this, since Chihuahuan alopecia is not that rare. Last week she started acting very strange, she is a very gluttonous dog and jumps with excitement every time she is fed, once in the morning and once in the evening. She completely lost interest in food, we had to pick her up and put her in front of a bowl to eat. Other symptoms included: Unusual behavior such as restlessness and anxiety. Glassy, unfocused eyes (couldn't get her attention). Partial seizures Incessant sniffing (e.g., looking for food in a hospital, failed to get her attention or get her to stop once she started). sure there was no poison to get her in, which was confirmed. Poison was not found. The second thing I did was change her diet and I bought her the dry food she was on previously and fed her that same evening. It was the weekend so I made an appointment with the vet for Monday. There was a slight improvement the next morning, I kept it with me all day. In the evening I fed her the same dry food, she cheered up a little. When I went to feed her the next morning she was almost normal, apart from being a bit distracted she seemed almost normal. The improvements continued until she was back to normal. After a lot of research and talking to the vet clinic, we concluded it was hypoglycemia. Be aware of these symptoms, if your dog starts behaving like this I would suggest changing their food and going to the vet immediately. I have a feeling it's related to that last load of food because she handled the last load.
